Il Lago olive oil comes from The Chianti region of Tuscany.  The IL Lago Farm is located just twenty kilometers northeast of Florence. The olives are hand picked weeks before they are ripened.  This EVOO has the characteristics of fine wine-rich, fruity and spicy.  The taste is truly unique and will compliment your cooking with its’ herbaceous olive flavors.  This is a fine dipping oil and should be used fresh from the bottle over salads, drizzled over soups and dips and grilled or roasted vegetables.
